About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global IT Procurement Manager to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our Global Procurement team, you will play a critical role in driving our digital transformation and building a progressive global IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Sourcing Strategy
    • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies that align with business needs
    • Partner with stakeholders to develop, approve, and execute global strategies
    • Set targets and expectations to drive total value creation, including quality, cost avoidance, working capital, and hard savings
  • Supplier Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with critical suppliers
    • Negotiate technology contracts on behalf of McCain IT
    • Foster internal-external partnerships and alignment
  • Leadership and People Development
    • Provide thought leadership and share best practices with stakeholders
    • Develop a high-performing team of global procurement professionals
    • Represent the category at global meetings and industry events
  • Global Alignment
    • Ensure positive stakeholder experience and engagement
    • Actively engage stakeholders to understand business unit needs and align on goals and objectives
    • Share best practices and wins within the categories across all regions
  • Knowledge Development
    • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge base for the category
    • Continually review external and internal business, market, and technology trends
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree or related experience in Business, Technology, or Finance
    • 5+ years of procurement-related experience and/or leading a high-performing team
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong negotiation, analytic, finance, and supplier relationship skills
    • Expertise in procurement fundamentals, including SRM, complex global negotiations, procurement category management, and stakeholder mapping/management
    • Proven experience with global enterprise deployment of legacy software/services, SaaS, Cyber Security, IT Professional Services, and Technology Consulting
    • Strong executive presence, business acumen, and experience collaborating/influencing senior leaders
