Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Representative to join our team at Navacord. As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for managing the initial claim reporting process, reviewing and verifying claim documents, and calculating settlements. If you have a strong background in customer service, conflict resolution, and administration, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initial Claim Reporting: Support and manage the initial claim reporting process from clients, brokers, and repair facilities.
  • Document Review and Verification: Review and assess submitted claim documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to policy terms.
  • Settlement Calculations: Calculate partial loss and total loss settlements, ensuring fair and accurate compensation.
  • Client and Broker Support: Address and respond to client and broker inquiries related to total loss settlements.
  • Settlement Issuance: Request and facilitate the issuance of partial loss and total loss settlements.
Requirements
  • 1 year of administrative/customer service experience working in a related field.
  • General Insurance Level 1 license, an asset.
  • Previous claims experience an asset.
  • Strong accuracy, analytical, and detail orientation skills.
  • Conflict resolution experience with an empathetic approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and EPIC preferred.
