About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Knowledge Mobilization and Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the University of Toronto. This is a 1-year, 80% FTE position that will play a critical role in communications and events planning, evidence review and knowledge synthesis, and administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communications strategies to promote our research and initiatives.
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and workshops to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans to inform our research and initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, and community partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four years of relevant administrative, communications, and research experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and communications software.
Assets
  • Experience updating WordPress websites.
  • Expertise in environmental sustainability and healthcare.
