Job Summary

The Mobile Scheduling Specialist plays a critical role in coordinating and scheduling owned mobile and uplink facilities, as well as negotiating and securing third-party cross rentals. This position requires delivering a consistently high level of efficient and timely client service, communication, and responsiveness to internal and external clients/partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule owned and rental mobile units within Dome's VimBiz computer system to optimize mobile capacity.
  • Negotiate and secure rental mobile units as needed, adhering to Dome Productions' practices and policies.
  • Negotiate sound reciprocal deals when necessary.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' properties and technical requirements.
  • Follow up on event logistics, including venue information, park and power times, technical specifications, drive times, and other details impacting Dome Productions' deliverables.
  • Liaise daily with engineering, operations, fleet, and event production departments.
  • Prepare support for annual and monthly planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Approve all rental mobile invoices within the company's Vimbiz system.
Critical Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of experience in television and/or mobile production management.
  • Previous scheduling experience is required.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good organizational and administration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and be creative with solutions.
  • Ability to work through decisions, solve problems, and react independently.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to remain calm and collected in stressful, time-sensitive situations.
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile capacity and technical aspects of major and minor industry players in North America.
  • Must be flexible in working hours; some travel required.
