QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training, and Experience

Possession of a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, or a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA), along with a minimum of seven (7) years of recent relevant experience in a sophisticated, computerized financial/accounting setting.

Skills and Abilities
  • Proven competencies in cultural safety and humility.
  • Expertise in budgeting for capital projects, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Familiarity with internal auditing and control processes is considered advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, decision-making, and supervisory capabilities.
  • Capacity to cultivate and sustain effective working relationships and communication with all levels of personnel, senior management, external organizations, other Health Authorities, and pertinent government entities.
