We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 4343432 Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation
Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
Chef ManagementLead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
Inventory ManagementOversee the inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
Quality ControlInspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Supply Chain ManagementOrder supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen and ensure efficient operations.
Staff DevelopmentProvide training and guidance to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge and promote career development.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Work SettingRestaurant or similar food service environment.
Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
Personal SuitabilityDependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
