We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Duncan's Lounge Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Staff Management: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that we are ordering the right quantities of ingredients and supplies.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
