About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at Gold Paving Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport materials and goods to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials and goods, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Inspect and Monitor Vehicle: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and compliant with regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from the dump truck, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Record and Report: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
