Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at STAR EXCAVATING LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck to transport goods and materials, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle is in optimal condition.
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information.
Requirements
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 32-35 hours per week
