About the Opportunity

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic procedures and therapies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our patients.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in nuclear medicine technology. Your qualifications should include:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification and Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
  • Basic Life Support Certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry advancements
Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent full-time position, with a 75-hour biweekly schedule. You will work Monday to Friday, with occasional call rotation and travel between sites. The hourly rate is $39.96, and successful candidates may be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
