About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information for management and external communication. You will also be responsible for implementing internal control processes and procedures within the business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Perform financial analysis and control of reports and documents from business units, subsidiaries, and consolidations.
    • Conduct consolidation and treatment work on the entire perimeter.
    • Produce financial statements for the perimeter.
    • Perform cross-analysis on the entire perimeter (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
    • Establish a permanent link with correspondents in subsidiaries.
  • Process and Controls:
    • Ensure the application of Group processes in governance.
    • Assure and assist in the implementation of Group processes and procedures within the entity.
    • Be an intermediary within the BU for global control issues and the application of good practices.
    • Participate in the presentation of internal and external audit reports on internal control.
    • Participate in ad-hoc studies conducted by the Group's internal control department.
  • Campaign Neo CAP:
    • Organize and coordinate the Neo CAP self-assessment campaign at the BU level.
    • Review the perimeter and questionnaires for the entity.
    • Follow the progress of the campaign.
    • Validate responses and tests.
  • Compliance:
    • Perform certain diligence in cooperation with the Group's compliance department and internal control services.
  • Diagnosis:
    • Implement internal control diagnostics (and systematically for entities entering the Group in accordance with Group procedures).
    • Establish action plans to comply with Group standards and follow up on the implementation of these plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance, preferably with a CPA, CIA, or equivalent title.
  • Previous experience in an internal control/audit team (3-5 years).
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is essential, as the incumbent will collaborate with Canada.
  • Experience in Big 4 is an asset.
  • Previous experience with SAP (GRC), Coupa, WebFocus, PeopleSoft, OWAM, or Maximo is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and audit.
  • Ability to analyze information and produce clear and effective remediation programs to address identified weaknesses.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, PCGR, FASB, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of industry standards and compliance.
  • Understanding of business processes to evaluate business line requirements and compliance with indicated programs.
  • Excellent communication, analysis, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Expertise in a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and manage projects and personnel.

Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday. The position is based in Montreal, with a hybrid work formula offered (minimum 2 days per week in the office and maximum 3 days per week at home).
