Internal Control Specialist SOX, Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Specialist SOX, Finance to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial information.
Key Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for integrating yourself into your department and role while developing trusting relationships with different stakeholders.
- Identify, define, and evaluate existing internal controls to meet certification objectives.
- Proactively identify issues presenting a risk to the certification of financial information.
- Coordinate control testing in each of our divisions.
- Support each division's financial information certification teams.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of processes with managers from the finance function and other functions.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
- Have or be in the process of obtaining an accounting certification.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Mandatory bilingualism, written and spoken (English/French).
- Attention to detail; excellent analysis and synthesis skills.
- Self-sufficiency and initiative.
- Strong priority management and multitasking skills.
- Passion and curiosity with respect to BRP products, customers, and markets.
