Internal Control Specialist SOX, Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Specialist to join our Finance team at BRP. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate financial reporting risks
- Design and execute control testing to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls
- Provide expert guidance on internal control documentation and certification
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
- Professional certification in accounting or a related field (e.g. CPA, CMA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in internal control, financial reporting, or a related field
- Mandatory bilingualism (English/French)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
