Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour costs
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and inventory management
  • Recruit and train new staff members
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Cost products and services
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Address customer complaints and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
