Culinary Operations Supervisor

Rams Hospitality Inc. is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to oversee our culinary operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our food service establishment.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced food service setting, which may include fast food outlets or concession stands.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff regarding job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports regarding operations.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Oversee a team of 5-10 individuals.
Certifications- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Safe Food Handling Certificate.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Physically demanding tasks are involved.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Client-focused with excellent oral communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
- A strong team player with dependable work habits.
