Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
This position is based in a **restaurant** setting, where you will lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective methods to achieve work schedules.
- Order and manage food and kitchen supplies efficiently.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that food quality and service meet established standards.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for operational needs.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Compile and submit necessary reports.
- Prepare food order summaries for the head chef.
- Possess knowledge of the restaurant's culinary offerings.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
