Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor at Tahini's Richmond Hill, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. Your leadership will ensure that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Scheduling: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Resource Estimation: Assess and estimate the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on operational performance.
  • Work Schedule Management: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
