Position Overview

As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents at Chartwell Villa Saguenay. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Equivalent experience may also be considered
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in serving meal trays and feeding residents
  • Maintain an organized inventory of supplies
  • Support residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Respond to call signals to assess residents' needs
  • Provide first aid during emergency situations
Required Certifications
  • Completion of Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training
  • Current CPR Certification
Safety and Security
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic setting
