We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Technologist to join our team at the National Research Council Canada (NRC). As a key member of our Combustion Research Facility (CRF) team, you will play a critical role in supporting our research activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and operate various analytical instrumentation and equipment in our combustion test cells and research laboratories.
  • Execute calibration procedures for critical and non-critical instruments, ensuring compliance with NRC Aerospace ISO standards.
  • Assist in the design, development, and assembly of electronic and real-time computer hardware/software for control and measurement.
  • Provide technical expertise in selecting scientific instrumentation, components, and software.
Requirements:
  • 3-year College Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Process Control Engineering Technology.
  • Significant experience in experimental measurement techniques, signal conditioning/processing, and instrumentation design.
  • Basic experience in laboratory or industrial process programming languages (LabVIEW or PLC) and project planning.
