Position Overview

The Customer Support Associate will be instrumental in managing the Customer Service desk and Order Management functions, playing a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction.

Addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly, including matters related to delivery, order discrepancies, and resolution of issues, is a fundamental aspect of this position. Additionally, providing support to the Order Management desk by ensuring timely and accurate order entry will be a significant responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Health and Safety

  • Foster a culture prioritizing safety.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety Department to implement safety management systems and comply with all safety regulations.
  • Promptly report any known workplace hazards or violations in accordance with company procedures.

Core Functions

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an industrial setting and familiarity with MRP systems.

Main Duties:

  • Client Service: Address client inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Investigate and resolve client issues concerning:
    • delivery timelines
    • order accuracy
    • billing inquiries.
  • Manage invoice adjustments: investigate discrepancies and inform the Accounts Receivable team when a credit is warranted.

Order Management:

  • Input client orders into the system efficiently.
  • Verify the accuracy of entered orders.
  • Generate and send order confirmations.
  • Handle general inquiries related to products and services.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience

  • 3-5 years in a customer service or order management role, ideally within the glass sector.

Skills

  • Proven experience in customer interaction and issue resolution.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems in an industrial context.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
