Job Summary: The Logistics Operations Supervisor fosters and encourages a culture of safety, an engaged workforce, and superior service within the facility. This role involves spending significant time on the operational floor, offering guidance to the logistics team and mentoring staff on safety protocols, service excellence, and productivity enhancements. Key responsibilities include managing and directing the logistics team, assessing, coaching, and nurturing individual and team performance, while implementing operational enhancements to attain excellence, ensure safety in the workplace, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Main Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a logistics or warehouse setting
  • Post-secondary education in operations, logistics, or a related discipline

  • Experience in a high-volume logistics environment with picking and shipping operations
  • Familiarity with HACCP standards
  • Commitment to health and safety in the workplace
  • Proven capability to lead a team in a fast-paced logistics environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership and conflict resolution abilities
  • Mindset geared towards continuous improvement
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience with logistics software applications
