Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience & Skills:
    Minimum of 5+ years in Software Asset Management (SAM), showcasing deep expertise in managing software assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, tracking, and disposal.
  • ServiceNow Proficiency:
    Extensive experience with the ServiceNow SAM module, including reconciliation and remediation, alongside a strong understanding of ITSM, ITAM, and CMDB modules.
  • SAM Best Practices:
    In-depth knowledge of industry best practices for software asset management, focusing on entitlements, compliance, and financial tracking.
  • Process Optimization:
    Demonstrated ability to enhance SAM processes for improved efficiency and compliance, aligning them with broader IT and business strategies.
  • Client Engagement:
    Exceptional skills in engaging with stakeholders across all levels, with the ability to communicate complex SAM processes to non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
    Highly skilled in analyzing hardware asset data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, along with proficiency in troubleshooting issues related to hardware asset management.
  • Project Management:
    Experience in leading SAM projects, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • IT Service Management Frameworks:
    Familiarity with ITIL and other relevant frameworks, applying these principles effectively within SAM.
  • Data Management:
    Experience in data modeling and ensuring data integrity within ServiceNow's SAM module.
  • Certifications:
    Preferred qualifications include ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM and ITIL Foundation Certification or higher.

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree being preferred.
