Software Application Development Manager

Purolator is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our team in delivering innovative technology solutions. As a key member of our Digital Channels department, you will be responsible for defining projects, gathering requirements, and overseeing the technical delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of technical contributors and improve processes to ensure efficient project delivery
- Design and innovate software applications to support business functions and client requirements
- Develop software and hardware solutions across a range of languages, including mobile and infrastructure
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and processes to ensure frequent and safe shipping
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate progress and ensure alignment with business objectives
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer, ideally in a new product development role
- 3+ years of experience managing a technical team
- Proficient in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Source Code Management, and documentation
- Strong DevOps understanding with a security and automation mindset
- Proven track record developing public-facing web-based user interfaces and applications
- IaaS/PaaS/SaaS deployment and operations experience
