Software Development Manager (Full Stack)

Purolator is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our team in developing innovative technology solutions. As a key member of our Digital Channels department, you will be responsible for defining projects, gathering requirements, and delivering technical solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development team in designing and implementing software applications that support business functions and client requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and processes to ensure frequent and safe software releases
  • Work with a range of technologies, including Java, Python,.NET, and AWS native solutions

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer, ideally in a new product development role
  • 3+ years of experience managing a technical team
  • Strong understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Source Code Management, and documentation
  • Proven track record of developing public-facing web-based user interfaces and applications
  • Experience with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS deployment and operations
