Intermediate Bilingual Property Field Claims Adjuster, Hybrid

Xpera is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Bilingual Property Field Claims Adjuster, Hybrid to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for adjusting claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized.
Key Responsibilities- Prompt contact and follow-up with policyholders and claimants to ensure timely resolution of claims.
- Investigate the cause of claims and report to clients with solid recommendations.
- Using supplied technology, scope and establish the quantum of damages.
- Identify exposures, recommend reserves, and negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements.
- Provide high-level customer service to clients and the insured throughout the claims process.
- Participate in after-hours customer service requirements when required.
- Perform duties assigned in compliance with established work standards, policies, and procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in desktop or field claims adjusting, preferably in property.
- Ongoing commitment to education and learning, preferably pursuing a CIP designation.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive.
- Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature and perform advanced numerical calculations.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle pressure with a calm demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and French.
