As an Adjuster, you will actively manage claims while maximizing business development opportunities, which includes timely marketing and follow-up on prospects.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in Property Claims is preferred.
- A university degree or relevant post-secondary education in insurance is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience is necessary.
- An Adjuster's license or pursuit of a CIP designation is expected.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- A commitment to ongoing education and professional development is essential.
- Strong analytical skills to identify cause and effect relationships.
- Proficient investigative skills.
- Able to draw valid conclusions and communicate them effectively.
- Capability to interpret complex legal documents and perform advanced numerical analyses.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to adapt style to suit the audience.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively.
- A proactive and positive approach to customer service, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Strong interpersonal skills to navigate conflicts and challenging situations.
