Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The North West Company LP. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our food service department, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and quality control.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to food service staff on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service standards.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and manage inventory and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to deliver high-quality food and service.

Lead and Motivate Team Members

Supervise and motivate food service staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to deliver exceptional customer service.

Monitor and Improve Quality

Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food and service meet our high standards, and implement improvements as needed.

Maintain Accurate Records

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Skills

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
