Assistant Manager for Restaurant Operations

The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Manage a budget ranging from $100,001 to $500,000.
- Define the range of services to be provided and establish operational protocols.
- Prepare financial reports, including cash balances and related documentation.
- Conduct evaluations of staff performance.
- Analyze costs associated with products and services.
- Maintain and organize inventory effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers for food and other necessary items.
- Engage with clients regarding catering services and facility usage.
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Plan, organize, direct, and assess daily operational activities.
- Oversee a team of 16-20 employees.
- Proficient in using electronic cash registers.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and spreadsheet applications.
- Public transportation options are accessible.
- Fast-paced setting requiring the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Strong client focus and dependable.
- Possess effective interpersonal skills and flexibility.
- Highly organized and reliable team player.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Permanent position with a work schedule of 30 to 35 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
