Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 2079651 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and portion and wrap foods for customers.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used, and stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and work under pressure to meet customer demands.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
