About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Belmont INN. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of 5-10 team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Guest Services
    • Assist guests with special needs, ensuring that their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of motel facilities and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order.
    • Coordinate the requisitioning of materials and supplies, ensuring that we have everything we need to operate efficiently.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
