The Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment Programs Manager to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and monitoring of our student and recent graduate recruitment programs.

About the Role

You will lead a team of Recruitment Programs Specialists and be accountable for the success of our student and recent graduate recruitment programs. Your focus will be on delivering innovative, high-quality outreach strategies and ensuring a diverse and highly qualified candidate pool that aligns with the Bank's goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Lead the annual University Recruitment (UR) campaign and guide internal stakeholders through the full recruitment cycle
  • Own the success of Recruitment programs by being an inspiring leader, fostering a positive work environment, and setting clear and ambitious goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external outreach partners, such as universities, colleges, faculty advisors, and student associations
  • Continuously refine and evolve the design of our programs to implement enhancements that align with business and strategic objectives
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive improvements, optimize processes, and support decision-making

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with post-secondary education in a relevant domain (Human resources, Business Administration, etc.) with established, validated experience leading a team of recruitment professionals. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Language Requirement

English and French are essential languages for this role, with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in the second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in the second official language.

Security Clearance

Be eligible to obtain Reliability Security Clearance.

Relocation Assistance

Relocation assistance may be provided, if required.

Hybrid Work Model

The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank's hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues.
