About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious New Grad Trader Trainee to join our dynamic team at Accoravillage. As a Junior Trader, you will play a key role in building and maintaining professional relationships with external stakeholders, including cold-calling and qualifying prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute trading strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
  4. Negotiate prices and sales with customers.
  5. Manage trading positions while balancing risk and financing.
  6. Communicate and collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth transactions.
  7. Travel to client sites to maintain relationships with existing customers.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or science.
  2. Previous experience in a meritocratic role where there is a requirement to influence others' decisions and actions.
  3. High-energy with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  4. Self-starter mentality, and the ability to deal with setbacks, recover quickly, and apply what you learned.
  5. Strong work ethic and commitment to go above and beyond in a professional environment.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of an organization.
  7. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  9. Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail.
  10. Ability to act with good judgment and discretion, keeping sensitive business data secure.
