Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at LMC Vaughan clinic, supporting our endocrinology and diabetes care services. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our team of endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments of patients, including obtaining history, performing physical assessments, and reviewing diagnostic testing.
  • Manage and counsel patients on diabetes management and advanced skills, including implementing and adjusting therapies and monitoring systems.
  • Consult with supervising physicians as necessary and perform all patient care activities as per medical directives.
  • Act as Sub-Investigator and coordinator for research studies, conducting study patient physicals, visits, and performing queries and data entry.
Requirements
  • University-based accredited Physician Assistant training program (Bachelor or Master level).
  • Member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA).
  • Experience practicing as a Physician Assistant is considered an asset, but new grads are also welcome to apply pending PACC Exam results in 2024.
  • Ready to expand your expertise and grow in the specialty of Endocrinology Practice.
