We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Advisor to join our team in Montreal. As a Claims Advisor, you will be responsible for processing clients' claims by reviewing relevant policies, investigating losses, and reporting losses to the insurer.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze insurance policies to determine coverage and liability
- Investigate losses and gather evidence to support claims
- Communicate with clients and insurers to resolve claims efficiently
- Manage and settle claims within established guidelines
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential losses
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and prevent future losses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless claim processing
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Claims adjuster's license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers
- Member of the Quebec Bar (an asset)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
