About the Role:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, and implementation of care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
