Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR functions within the organization. This position is designed for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in human resources management.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Services: Provide comprehensive HR services across various functional areas.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning process and assist in developing the Human Resources plan aligned with organizational goals.
  • Recruitment Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to formulate and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Onboarding Programs: Develop and maintain onboarding programs tailored to specific positions and departments.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training needs assessments and develop annual training plans.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate performance review processes and provide guidance to managers on effective performance discussions.
  • Succession Planning: Assist in managing the succession planning process in partnership with leadership.
  • Total Rewards Program: Support the development and maintenance of the total rewards program, including compensation and benefits.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and provide advice on investigations related to employee complaints.
  • HR Metrics: Prepare and analyze HR-specific metrics and statistics.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field. A certification such as CHRL or CHRP is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of senior HR management experience. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of employment legislation and a commitment to achieving HR objectives with integrity.
