About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Adviser to join our team at Pizza Nova. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Direct and control daily operations of the HR department to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Lead and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Strategic Planning and Development
    • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs to support business objectives.
    • Conduct research and analysis to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement
    • Advise managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
    • Establish and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
    • Manage the hiring process, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Performance Management and Development
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to employees.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including employment standards and human rights.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with HR practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
    • Knowledge of human resources laws and regulations.
