Electronic Billing Specialist

Position: Billing Operations Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated professional to fulfill the role of Billing Operations Coordinator. This position involves managing the transmission of electronic invoices and ensuring their validation within the designated platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Authenticate and dispatch invoices to client systems utilizing eBillingHub and other legal billing applications
- Track acceptance or rejection notifications and work closely with the team lead to resolve any issues
- Oversee a shared electronic billing inbox, investigate inquiries, and escalate matters as necessary
- Engage with billing coordinators to troubleshoot configuration challenges affecting electronic invoice submissions
- Input billing forecasts, status updates, budgets, professional rates, and justifications into client systems
- Resolve technical difficulties related to LEDES files
- Develop and maintain professional rate lists and mandate details for client systems
- Support special projects as assigned by the billing manager
- Serve as a resource for administrative personnel and attorneys regarding electronic billing inquiries

Qualifications
- Degree in accounting or a related discipline
- At least 1 year of experience in a comparable position, ideally within professional services
- Fluency in both French and English
- Proficient in MS Office 2010 (Word, advanced Excel capabilities, Outlook)
- Experience with Elite 3E or similar accounting systems, as well as electronic billing platforms
- Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Professional demeanor, meticulous attention to detail, discretion, initiative, and a commitment to continuous learning
