Position: Billing Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated professional to fulfill the role of Billing Operations Coordinator. This position involves managing the transmission of electronic invoices and ensuring their validation within the designated platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Authenticate and dispatch invoices to client systems utilizing eBillingHub and other legal billing applications
  • Track acceptance or rejection notifications and work closely with the team lead to resolve any issues
  • Oversee a shared electronic billing inbox, investigate inquiries, and escalate matters as necessary
  • Engage with billing coordinators to troubleshoot configuration challenges affecting electronic invoice submissions
  • Input billing forecasts, status updates, budgets, professional rates, and justifications into client systems
  • Resolve technical difficulties related to LEDES files
  • Develop and maintain professional rate lists and mandate details for client systems
  • Support special projects as assigned by the billing manager
  • Serve as a resource for administrative personnel and attorneys regarding electronic billing inquiries

Qualifications

  • Degree in accounting or a related discipline
  • At least 1 year of experience in a comparable position, ideally within professional services
  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Proficient in MS Office 2010 (Word, advanced Excel capabilities, Outlook)
  • Experience with Elite 3E or similar accounting systems, as well as electronic billing platforms
  • Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
