We are seeking a skilled Billing Technician to join our team at Fed Finance Canada. As a Billing Technician, you will be responsible for preparing invoices for work in progress, verifying accuracy of invoice information, and processing invoice cancellations, credit notes, and time entry corrections.
Your Responsibilities- Prepare and process invoices for clients
- Verify the accuracy of invoice information and resolve any discrepancies
- Process cancellations, credit notes, and time entry corrections
- Solve billing-related problems and provide excellent customer service
- Process write-off requests and maintain accurate records
- Upload and follow up on all electronic invoicing
- DEC in administrative techniques or accounting or other related training
- 2 years of experience in billing, preferably in a professional services firm or large corporation
- Knowledge of Maitre or Elite software and electronic invoicing (an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written French
