Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Edmonton International Airport. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings
  • Ensure high standards of food safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
  • Collaborate with our events team to create customized menus for banquets and events
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and train kitchen staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification an asset
