Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Restaurant Operations Assistant to join our team at HFX FOODHUB INC.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including managing inventory, scheduling, and staff supervision.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly assess employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve overall team efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely ordering to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support for Diverse Groups: Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives, providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
- Fluency in English
