Job Summary

The Arts & Science Undergraduate Society is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Partners in Education Committee as Marketing and Outreach Coordinators, Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinators, Events and Fundraising Coordinators, and Financial Management Coordinators.

About the Role

As a member of the Partners in Education Committee, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's mission to increase high school graduation rates in designated neighborhoods. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Marketing and Outreach: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the organization's programs and events, increasing awareness and engagement within the community.
  • Volunteer and Community Engagement: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for tutoring, mentoring, and event support, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.
  • Events and Fundraising: Plan, organize, and execute fundraising and community events in collaboration with the organization, ensuring they align with the organization's objectives.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budget planning and financial management for fundraising events and activities, ensuring all expenditures align with the organization's financial goals and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Partners in Education Committee, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the organization's programs and events.
  • Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers for tutoring, mentoring, and event support.
  • Planning, organizing, and executing fundraising and community events.
  • Overseeing budget planning and financial management for fundraising events and activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
