Deputy Community Outreach Commissioner: Marketing and Events

Job Summary
The Arts & Science Undergraduate Society is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the Deputy Community Outreach Commissioner: Marketing and Events. This role will play a crucial part in promoting the marketing efforts for 12 Community Outreach Committees and their respective events.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing and Events Planning: Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans for each of the 12 Community Outreach Committees to enhance event visibility and community engagement.
- Committee Support: Maintain a minimum of 5 office hours per week to assist with committee needs and provide support.
- Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the recruitment and selection process for Community Outreach Committee Chairs.
- Commission Meetings: Join weekly meetings with the Community Outreach Commissioner to stay aligned with strategic goals and updates.
- Event Management: Lead the organization of the annual Silent Auction, ensuring effective communication with all Commission members. Manage all aspects of the Supper Series initiative.
- Commission-Wide Initiatives: Aid in planning and executing Commission-wide meetings, events, and initiatives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of marketing principles and event planning is essential for success in this role.
