Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cashier Supervisor to join our team at THE CURRENCY EXCHANGE HOUSE LIMITED. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our sales floor, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of 5-10 sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team members' skills and productivity.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking stock levels and monitoring inventory turnover.
    • Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Cash Handling and Security
    • Manage cash handling procedures, including counting and reconciling cash drawers.
    • Ensure the security and integrity of our cash handling processes.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and loyalty.
  • Store Operations
    • Establish and maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 44 hours per week. The language of work is English.
