Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations professional to join our team at TD Bank. As a Senior IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of 24/7 service operations and ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve data center performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Manage Data Center Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our data centers, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services and products.
  • Incident Management: Lead the response to incidents and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Capacity Planning: Develop and implement plans to ensure adequate capacity and resources to meet business needs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of IT Operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and vendors, to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Extensive IT Operations Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in IT Operations, with a focus on data center management.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT hardware, databases, and Ethernet cable infrastructure.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a focus on development and growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to make informed decisions that support business objectives.
