The Resident Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the lives of residents by providing strong leadership and motivation to the Sienna team.

In this position, your daily responsibilities will include:

  1. Creating and nurturing a vibrant culture that prioritizes resident wellness, choice, and active participation.
  2. Managing The Market in accordance with established guidelines, while exploring innovative ways to meet residents' needs.
  3. Ensuring both personal and team professional development through training and certification programs.
  4. Implementing and refining the new resident welcome initiative to help newcomers feel integrated into the community.
  5. Building and maintaining robust relationships with local organizations, vendors, and contractors to enhance resident engagement and wellbeing.
  6. Assisting the General Manager by organizing and documenting Town Halls and Resident Council meetings.
  7. Curating the monthly community events calendar and newsletter.
Essential Qualifications
  1. A strong commitment to promoting the health and happiness of seniors through engaging lifestyle experiences, including events, outings, and fitness programs.
  2. A degree or diploma in fields such as Gerontology, Kinesiology, Therapeutic Recreation, or Health Sciences.
  3. At least one year of experience in programming for seniors within independent living, assisted living, or community center settings.
  4. A minimum of one year of management and supervisory experience.
  5. Certification to instruct group fitness classes for seniors, with a willingness to obtain necessary certifications within the first 60 days of employment.
  6. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, or the ability to obtain a special-class license within the first six months of employment.
  7. Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
