Airport Security Officer Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

As an Airport Security Officer with Paladin Airport Security Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and airport staff. Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Screening passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints with efficiency and accuracy
* Providing professional and courteous information to passengers and airport staff
* Confirming valid boarding passes and scanning baggage for prohibited items
* Protecting restricted areas and managing conflict situations
* Communicating clearly and effectively with passengers and airport staff

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment. You must also be available to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. Strong English communication skills are essential, with fluency in French being an asset. Additionally, you must be able to comply with the CATSA medical requirements and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
