The Service Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of airport screening services. This leadership position oversees the daily activities of Screening Officers, focusing on achieving operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of Screening Officers to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong customer relationships and resolve operational matters.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend employee recognition programs.
- Apply corrective measures in accordance with the progressive discipline process.
- Compile comprehensive security incident reports and assist Screening Officers in handling operational matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field; or a minimum of two years of post-secondary education combined with a year of supervisory/managerial experience.
- Ability to acquire Transportation Security Clearance and eligibility for Federal Security Clearance.
- Minimum of three years of work-related experience in a protective service leadership role, preferably in the aviation security industry.
- Knowledge of relevant security and employment legislation.
- Strong operational focus, ability to work under pressure, and provide creative solutions.
- Experience in managing personnel in a unionized environment.
- Proficiency in using office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, shift work, and attend incidents after hours.
- Strong communication, leadership, client service, and persuasive skills.
