Job Title: Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Algo Medical Group Inc. in Thunder Bay.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a community setting, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide patient care
  • Develop and implement community-based programs with the allied health team
  • Roster patients and work with a consulting physician and advanced NPs
  • Document all encounters on an electronic medical records system
  • Provide care to a diverse population
Requirements
  • Current registration with and membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum 1 year of NP work experience
  • Primary health care experience, preferably in a community setting
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of computers and various software applications
