Position: Inventory Control Specialist at CAE

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will work closely with supply chain management and logistics teams to establish and maintain mini markets (kanban) within production areas. Your primary responsibilities will include configuring parameters in Oracle ERP systems, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring compliance with departmental policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess new mini market (kanban) requirements and implement necessary modifications. Prioritize stock implementations to ensure availability aligns with project timelines. Act as a communication bridge between manufacturing, assembly units, industrial engineering, and logistics. Promote effective communication and ensure timely follow-up among teams. Continuously evaluate business requirements and make adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

A college diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (with a focus on operations and production management), industrial engineering, or a related field. Experience in unionized manufacturing settings is a plus. Proficiency in sourcing and Material Resource Planning (MRP) software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and MRP systems. Understanding of various manufacturing processes. Ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Bilingualism is essential.
